DMSI has an experienced staff in our Engineering Department and in Design Development to assist our clients in designing buildings specifically for modular construction.

We take into consideration the interior design needed to achieve the functional needs of the programs or sites, and also the exterior aesthetics needed to blend into existing campus designs, or assist in providing innovative designs for new configurations. 

DMSI uses custom exterior finishes such as stucco, horizontal lap siding, custom exterior windows and doors, and natural lighting canopies  and designs to appeal to local communities and schools.  For interior designs, DMSI is an expert at applying pitched roofs, raised ceilings, special mechanical systems, custom flooring and wallcoverings, and special cabinet and plumbing configurations when needed.
 
DMSI also works directly with architects to convert projects that were originally designed as site built, to be provided in modular buildings which in many cases as allowed the project to proceed and be completed on time and within budget.
